General Rental Terms & Conditions

Article 1 - Purpose

These general terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between the rental company and the renter in the context of vehicle rental.

Article 2 - Rental Terms

The renter must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving license for more than one year. A valid form of identification is required.

Article 3 - Booking and Payment

The booking becomes effective upon confirmation by the rental company. Payment is made at vehicle pickup or by online payment depending on the chosen method.

Article 4 - Security Deposit

A security deposit is required at vehicle pickup. This deposit will be returned within 15 days after the vehicle is returned, provided there is no damage.

Article 5 - Insurance

The vehicle is covered by third-party liability insurance. Additional insurance options to reduce or eliminate the deductible are offered at the time of booking.

Article 6 - Vehicle Use

The renter agrees to use the vehicle responsibly, to comply with traffic laws, and not to use the vehicle for illegal activities.

Article 7 - Return

The vehicle must be returned at the agreed date, time, and location. Any delay will be charged at the daily rate in effect.

Article 8 - Cancellation

Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the pickup date. After this deadline, a cancellation fee of 50 EUR will be applied.

Article 9 - Disputes

In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
